The Hibernian Golf Club, affiliated to the GUI is a Pay as You Play’ golf club in Ireland. We have just introduced a novel and truly interesting concept
‘Overseas Membership’.
Historically tourism has had a major positive impact on the Irish economy; become an ambassador for golf tourism in Ireland! by joining our club, proudly show others your membership card and encourage them to visit and play golf here.
Commenting on the concept, the Trustees of the club, said:
“ This is a concept we have long thought of as being particularly useful for golfers visiting Irish shores and the recent visit of President Obama to his ancestral roots was the tipping point for us to activate the thought and turn it into reality. While primarily it is designed to appeal to the Irish Diaspora, it actually has many benefits for any golfing visitor to Ireland, in that it allows the visitor instant access to a club and the opportunity to play with Irish golfers and really get a feel for life and golf in this country.”

The individual membership costs are €290.00 per year.
There is no joining fee.
The annual subscriptions are frozen for 3 years.
Membership includes:
Complimentary scheduling of your Golfing Holiday to Ireland.
• Your Tee Times at courses you want to play, Caddies (if required)
• Your Hotel Accommodations to suite your requirements,
• Ground Transportation to meet your needs
• Golf Club hire should you want to travel light.
• We will also be avaiable to make sure you and your group of fellow Hibernian overseas members have the greatest experience from a golfing holiday in Ireland.
Please Note: Each member of your travelling group must be an Overseas Member of the Hibernian Golf Club in order to avail of the scheduling benefits.
As Members of an Irish Golf Club affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland & Irish Ladies Golf Union you will have access too:
• All Hibernian Golf Club Competitions.
• An Official Irish handicap card.
• Access to Tee Times & Open Competitions in over 400 other Irish Golf Clubs.
• Access to Hibernian Golf Club golfing trips:
which include the Masters in Augusta, the Irish Open and the Biannual “Singles” Mixed Tournaments organised by Fairway Friends.
